It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Byron Powell, who departed this life on November 1st, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on December 8th, 1942, Byron was a man who truly enjoyed life and found joy in liming, sharing a drink, and spending time with family and friends. He was well known for his kind, outgoing, and loving personality, and his favorite color was blue, a reflection of his calm and vibrant nature. Byron was married to his beloved wife, Patricia Powell, for 52 wonderful years, and together they raised two sons, Sean and Damian, who were his pride and joy. He dedicated many years of service to the Ministry of Works, where he was admired and respected by his colleagues. Byron will be fondly remembered for his warmth, generosity, and the love he shared with everyone around him. His presence brought light and laughter to every room, and though he is no longer with us, his legacy of kindness and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
